Amendment 6 of the Transport Dangerous Goods Clear Language Regulations (TDGR), published by Transport Canada, has been posted effective February 20, 2008.

In synopsis, TDGR Amendment 6 harmonizes the applicable Canadian Law with the current ICAO Technical Instructions and IATA regulations. Notable changes are the elimination of the terms "Diagnostic Specimen" and "Clinical Specimen" in favor of the term "Biological Substance, Category B", as well as the removal of risk groups.
